Well lets see! Where to start? Well I pray everyone has had a very Merry Christmas! We had a very simple Christmas this year but it was really nice! We have been blessed with wonderful kids who are just blessed to get what they get and love it! We went to my parents on Christmas Eve and had a great time! Jeremy got a Thomas Guide and an ipod, I got some money to buy clothes! I went shopping the day after Christmas and got some really nice new clothes! Aaden got a new baseball toy box and Abbie got a new white toy chest! They both loved them! Gavin got his little glow sea horse (the new version of the old glow worm) and he loves it! He just stares at it! Then later that evening Santa came to our house which was a lot of fun!
We spent a nice time at home Christmas morning! Then we went to the movies with my family and saw Bedtime Stories! Cute movie! Then Christmas evening we went to Jeremy's parents for dinner and presents! All in all it was a really nice holiday!
Update on the kiddos! Aaden and Abbie are doing great! They are on a 3 week break that started early do to a weird winter storm that brought us snow! It was a blast! The night before Aaden prayed a bunch of times for snow! So when he woke up and it finally started snowing he was thrilled! It ended up snowing all day and we got lots of snow! So we played in the snow a little that Wenesday and all day Thursday sledding in my parents backyard!
We go to court for them in 10 days! We were told that it looks like the court date will be continued again! It is very bothersome that it keeps getting continued but we know God is in control! But in the meantime we are pray against it being continued! So we would appreciate you praying with us! The reason is because it was mentioned there was indian heritage in their bacground so it has to be looked into! Long story but the grandma was taking forever to get the info to the SW! But we were told that there still is the possibility they will still will terminate rights and thats what we want and need to move forward with their adoption!
As for Gavin! He is growing so fast! He is such a sweet little guy and we are enjoying every moment with him! According to my scale at home he is 10 1/2lbs he is not a little eater! He can be a fussy guy during the day cause he is a bit spoiled but we are trying to break that habit now! He sleeps thru the night for the most part! There are still a couple nights he gets up to eat! But still good for 2 months old! Last time I blogged we were waiting for the next court date! That was Nov. 25th and it was continued! Whats new! Haha! Well they have had a translator for his birthmother and she still has no desire to be reunited with him! I did meet with his new SW and she said that they are now allowed to have her sign the relinquishment papers! Once the relinquishment papers are signed they will send them to the state of California and once they approve the relinquishment is approved the mom can not change her mind! So his next court date is Jan. 15th and we are hoping that relinquishmnent papers will be signed! This court date is to decide the plans for his case!
